Vintage Ludwig Pioneer Snare Drum 14"x5" Gold Duco Preserial Keystone 1963.
Black / Gold DUCO Laquer finish in pretty good condition. Some minor blemishes and small flakes missing
Top & bottom hoops and the lugs are NOB. No major corrosion on the NOB hardware but the Nickel is dull and can be shined up with a little work.
The P83 snare throw & butte and rods are NOS. The throw has some rust on the arm. Still works as designed.
White interior. Very faint date stamp looks like DEC 2 1960 but it might be FEB or another month. Bearing edges clean and unmarred.
No internal muffler. Original heads and 12 wire snares are playable but well used. Snare side has tape repairs.
