Tama Superstar Mega8 Snare Drum 1980s Super Maple Finish

An uncommon snare from Tama, this is a clean example of a Mega8, measuring 14” in diameter and 8” in depth. The shell is clean as is the hardware, with minimal pitting on some surfaces. The shell is round and the bearing edges are clean. This is a phenomenal drum!
Note the vertical seam in the outer and inner plies of the drum. There is a seam visible in the outer ply of the drum; it is not a crack. One tension rod has been replaced. All washers have been replaced. The snare wires are new Tama snares. The muffler is a period-correct replacement.
