It's a must tool for landscapers, garden nurseries and even home owners. It makes the task of inserting landscape stables over fabric, in sod, and over above ground irrigation lines much easier.
Instructional videos can be viewed on Youtube by searching on "Landscape Staple Multi-Driver". If you haven't seen the Youtube Instructional Videos here are some important steps you should know about in using the Multi-Drivers XL and Standard models.
1) insert the staple into the bottom as far as it will go (it will be held in place by a magnet).
2) while holding the Outer Housing, place the staple where you want to insert it.
3) push down on the Outer Housing making the bottom flush withe ground,
4) while holding it down push down on the Driver Shaft Handle to insert the staple as far as it will go.
5) while continuing to hold the Outer Housing flush with the ground lift the Driver Shaft upward 3 to 4 inches and turn the shaft ¼ turn in either direction (make sure you have the Driver Shaft lifted before turning it),
6) push down on the Driver Shaft to complete the insertion (lift the Driver Shaft up and down to drive the staple in if necessary).
Instructions are included with the product and once you do it you will see that it is much simpler than it sounds and works great.
One of the primary benefits of the XL model is that it is approximately 44" tall and can be used from the standing position.
The Standard Model operates the same as the XL. The only difference is that the length of the Standard Model is 20 inches instead of 44 inches. This model is useful when it is necessary to be closer to the ground when inserting the staple.
The Simple Push Model is just that. It has no moving parts. It is for inserting a staple and pushing it into the ground or tapping it in with a mallet as opposed to pushing the bare staple in by hand or with your foot.
