Welcome to Robins in the Trundle Bed, brimming with antiques, whimsies, and fripperies that we have gathered in treasure hunts over the New England countryside.
We are pleased to be offering a collection of nineteenth century New England clothing and accessories that are new to the market from the fifth generation of the family to live in a Gardner, Massachusetts’ estate.
The clothing was found in the barn many years ago and has been kept in the family until now.
The clothing is attributed to the Hills (maker of fine hand painted bedsteads examples of which are in the MFA in Boston & The Gardner Museum) and the Kendall families. These cream stockings have old darns that make them even more charming! They measure 9” from toe to heel; Top of stocking to heel 16”.
