My father worked for the Reading Company/Conrail from the 50s until he retired. He would start his 8' x 12' American Flier train yard in our basement at Thanksgiving and we children couldn't see it until Christmas day.
This car and several other pieces that I will be listing are all that was left from that layout when our family cleaned out his house. My father gave most everything away.
I believe that this has not been used since around 1964.
I HAVE NO WAY TO TEST THIS.
